Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Plainview, Texas. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing emergency care in a fast-paced ER environment, utilizing a broad range of clinical skills. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Compact license; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course). A minimum of 2 years of ER experience is required.

• Patient Ratios: 4:1 during days, nights, and weekends
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The ER RN must have charge capabilities to fill in as needed, with the ability to handle various clinical scenarios including trauma, medical emergencies, and behavioral health conditions. The role involves managing complex patient care and adhering to hospital protocols, with a daily average census of 40 patients. Candidates must have at least 1 year of ER experience and be proficient in charting systems such as Epic.
