Seasonal Schedule: Mid-September - End of November and Mid-February - End of August

6:00 AM-1:30 PM Thursday & Friday:
Thursday: 6:00 AM-1:30 PM
Friday: 6:00 AM-12:00 PM Tuesday-Thursday:
1:30 PM-8:00 PM Additional Hours: All Kitchen Support Staff positions have the possibility of additional hours based on weekend events and coverage needs for other shifts.
Position Summary
Kitchen Support Staff will work alongside the Cook to assist with meal preparation, food service, cleaning, and food storage. This position helps maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen while supporting daily meal operations and providing a positive experience for campers, staff, and guests.

Position Summary
Kitchen Support Staff will work alongside the Cook to assist with meal preparation, food service, cleaning, and food storage. This position helps maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen while supporting daily meal operations and providing a positive experience for campers, staff, and guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with meal preparation and food service
- Wash and prepare fruits and vegetables
- Prepare meats, poultry, breads, soups, and other food items
- Follow proper weights and measurements
- Move and store food according to proper food safety procedures
- Stock and organize pantry, walk-in, and freezer areas
- Rotate food stock to maintain freshness
- Wash dishes, utensils, pans, glasses, and silverware using approved sanitary methods
- Assist with buffet and family-style meal service
- Help set up dining areas before meals
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety
- Safely operate kitchen equipment
- Follow food storage and food-handling procedures
- Assist the kitchen team with other duties as needed
- Maintain a courteous and professional attitude with campers, staff, and guests
- Assist with housekeeping and janitorial duties when needed
- Previous kitchen or food-service experience preferred
- Knowledge of basic food preparation and kitchen procedures
- Knowledge of sanitation and safe food storage
- Ability to safely use kitchen equipment
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Desire and ability to work with youth in a camp setting
- Valid Oregon Food Handler Card
