Activities - Life Enrichment Aide

We are seeking to fill the position of  Activities - Life Enrichment Aide on our Short-Term Rehab Unit (Rosarie) . 

• Full-Time shifts available = Mon - Friday; 8:30am to 4:30pm plus 2 Sundays per month.
• $17 to $19.74 per hour based on skills and experience.

Activities - Life Enrichment Aide Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Desire to engage with the Senior community; experience preferred but not required.
• Computer literate with training on entering resident care plan codes (MDS), preferred.
• Must be able to speak, write and understand English.

Activities - Life Enrichment Aide Working Conditions:

• Bending, standing, sitting, lifting, walking and moving intermittently during working hours. 
• Must assist in the evacuation of residents as necessary. 

Activities - Life Enrichment Aide Job Summary:

• Assist in planning, organizing and implementing activities - movies, parties, games, crafts.
• Assist the Activity Director with preliminary and comprehensive assessments of the activity needs of each resident.
• Attend to Resident Care Plans.
• Develop and maintain a good rapport with all the services involved with the care plan.
• Encourage resident participation and social communication during group activities and recreation.
• Assist in the transportation of residents to activities.
