Job Title: Counter Sales Associate
Pay: $22-28/hour DOE
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Start Date: ASAP

As a Counter Sales Associate, you'll play a key role in supporting front-counter sales and ensuring smooth order processing for agricultural, trailer, and job-shop customers. You'll work closely with the office manager, sales leadership, and shop machinists to interpret customer needs and deliver high-quality solutions.


What You'll Do
As a Counter Sales Associate, you will be responsible for:
• Greeting front-counter customers and providing sales assistance for retail parts, trailer components, drive lines, and custom job-shop inquiries.
• Processing customer orders, generating packing slips, and creating invoices smoothly through the internal ERP software system.
• Reading and interpreting basic mechanical prints, work orders, and manufacturing instructions to fulfill customer requests.
• Locating out-of-stock parts, sourcing specialty components, and providing accurate product guidance.
• Collaborating with shop machinists, welders, and assembly teams to ensure custom orders and repairs meet customer specifications.


What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of sales, counterparts, or equipment customer service experience.
• Familiarity with agriculture, industrial manufacturing, machining, welding, automotive, equipment rentals, or similar fields.
• Solid computer proficiency and ability to learn internal ERP order-processing workflows quickly.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read basic mechanical drawings and prints.
• Physical ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs, stand at the front counter, and assist with parts staging.
