Position Summary

Cowboys Club is seeking a dynamic, hospitality-driven Food & Beverage Manager to lead daily dining room, bar, event, and member experience operations within one of the most unique private social clubs in the country. Located inside the Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters at The Star in Frisco, Cowboys Club is a private social club and restaurant where members socialize, collaborate, relax, and entertain while enjoying unprecedented access to the Dallas Cowboys organization.

The Food & Beverage Manager serves as a visible leader on the floor, ensuring exceptional hospitality standards, operational excellence, financial accountability, and team development. This position partners closely with culinary leadership, Reception, Membership, Events, and senior club leadership to create memorable experiences for members, guests, players, coaches, executives, and VIP visitors.

The ideal candidate is a passionate leader who thrives in a luxury hospitality environment, embraces accountability, and understands that service excellence is achieved through culture, consistency, and genuine care for both members and TEAM Members.

Essential Responsibilities

Leadership & Culture

  • Lead by example and maintain a highly visible presence throughout all club spaces.
  • Inspire, coach, and develop front-of-house TEAM Members through ongoing training and mentorship.
  • Foster a culture of hospitality, professionalism, accountability, and teamwork.
  • Conduct daily lineups, pre-shift meetings, and operational touchpoints.
  • Partner with leadership to recruit, onboard, train, and retain top hospitality talent.
  • Ensure all TEAM Members uphold Cowboys Club service standards, appearance standards, and professional conduct expectations.
  • Address performance concerns promptly through coaching and corrective action when necessary.

Member Experience

  • Deliver an exceptional luxury club experience for members and guests.
  • Build meaningful relationships with members through engagement, recognition, and anticipation of needs.
  • Resolve member concerns with urgency, professionalism, and ownership.
  • Maintain awareness of VIP arrivals, special occasions, preferences, and club events.
  • Collaborate with Membership and Reception teams to enhance member engagement and retention.
  • Actively “dream weave” memorable experiences and personalized touches for members and guests.

Operations Management

  • Oversee daily dining room, bar, lounge, private dining, and event operations.
  • Ensure service execution meets luxury hospitality standards at all times.
  • Monitor reservations, table management, waitlists, and guest flow.
  • Ensure proper opening, shift change, and closing procedures are consistently followed.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation throughout all member-facing spaces.
  • Support game day operations, special events, member programming, and large-scale club activations.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.

Financial Performance

  • Assist in achieving food, beverage, labor, and operating expense goals.
  • Monitor daily sales, productivity, and labor performance.
  • Support inventory controls and loss prevention initiatives.
  • Manage scheduling to maximize efficiency while maintaining service standards.
  • Identify opportunities to improve revenue, service efficiency, and member satisfaction.
  • Participate in forecasting, budgeting, and financial review processes.

Team Development

  • Conduct ongoing service training and skills development.
  • Coach leaders and hourly TEAM Members on hospitality standards and operational excellence.
  • Complete performance evaluations and development plans.
  • Identify high-potential talent and support succession planning efforts.
  • Create an environment where TEAM Members feel supported, engaged, and valued.

Event Execution

  • Partner with culinary, membership, and event teams to execute club events and private functions.
  • Ensure flawless service delivery for social events, member experiences, corporate functions, and VIP engagements.
  • Assist in planning operational logistics and staffing requirements for events.
  • Maintain communication with all departments to ensure seamless execution.

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum 3-5 years of progressive food and beverage management experience.
  • Luxury hospitality, private club, fine dining, hotel, resort, or upscale restaurant experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
  • Proven ability to lead high-volume service environments while maintaining exceptional standards.
  • Strong financial acumen, including labor management and cost controls.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain composed and solutions-oriented in fast-paced environments.
  • Proficiency with POS systems, reservation platforms, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and Dallas Cowboys game days as business needs require.

Preferred

  • Private club experience.
  • Luxury lifestyle, hospitality, or membership-based experience.
  • Event and banquet operational experience.
  • Sommelier, wine, spirits, or beverage program knowledge.
  • Food Safety Certification and TABC Certification.
