General Laborer

Location: Bend, Oregon
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour DOE (Depending on Experience)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM

Job Overview

We are seeking a hardworking and dependable General Laborer to assist with digging domestic water wells in the Bend, Oregon area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, doesn't mind getting dirty, and is eager to learn a skilled trade. No previous experience is required, but candidates with a background in labor-intensive work, construction, landscaping, or other physically demanding jobs are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Assist the supervisor with daily well drilling and excavation operations
Dig and shovel materials as needed
Use hand tools and basic construction equipment safely and effectively
Perform physically demanding outdoor work in various weather conditions
Lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Follow instructions and work as part of a team
Support all aspects of the well installation process

Qualifications

Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Reliable and punctual with excellent attendance
Willingness to perform intense physical labor
Ability to work outdoors and in challenging conditions
Comfortable getting dirty and performing manual labor
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day
Willingness to learn and take direction from the supervisor
Previous labor or physically demanding work experience preferred, but not required
