Client Onboarding Manager

As a Client Onboarding Manager at Payactiv, you will lead the successful onboarding of new employer clients, ensuring a seamless transition from sales to Launch. You will partner with internal teams and customer stakeholders to drive implementation, deliver an excellent onboarding experience, and set the foundation for long-term success and product adoption. This role is critical in ensuring clients realize value quickly by combining project management, customer engagement, and product expertise . Key Responsibilities: Onboarding & Implementation Own and manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new employer clients Establish clear timelines, milestones, and expectations to ensure a smooth implementation Coordinate onboarding activities and ensure timely completion of all requirements Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during onboarding Build strong relationships with customer stakeholders, including HR teams and executives Conduct regular onboarding and follow-up calls to drive engagement and progress Provide product training, guidance, and best practices to support adoption Project Management & Execution Maintain clear documentation and track onboarding progress across accounts (e.g., Salesforce) Communicate status updates internally and ensure alignment across teams Identify risks early, manage escalations, and drive timely resolution Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Activation, Product, Engineering, Support, Finance, and Marketing teams Translate customer requirements and coordinate delivery through internal teams Collaborate closely with Sales and Client Success teams to ensure a smooth handoff Proactively identify and mitigate onboarding risks to ensure successful outcomes Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the onboarding journey Set the foundation for long-term retention and success post-onboarding Performance & Continuous Improvement Meet and exceed onboarding KPIs such as time-to-launch, adoption, and customer satisfaction Provide feedback to improve onboarding processes, tools, and customer experience What you need… Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience 3–5 years of experience in Customer Success, Onboarding, Implementation, or Account Management within B2B or B2B2C SaaS/fintech Experience working with HR / employer-based clients preferred Strong project management and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple implementations simultaneously Excellent problem-solving and risk management capabilities Strong communication skills with the ability to present and influence stakeholders, including executives Proven ability to manage customer relationships and deliver high-quality service Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and drive actions Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce AI-enabled mindset and familiarity with leveraging AI tools to enhance customer engagement, insights, and operational efficiency What we Offer… Company Sponsored Health, Dental and Vision insurance 401K, traditional and Roth with employer match Tuition Assistance or Tuition Reimbursement Monthly Gym Reimbursement Paid time off to volunteer Paid Family Leave (California) Unlimited Paid Time Off Complimentary office lunches Opportunity to grow Opportunity to work with a great team committed to making a difference.
