Job Title

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit throughout night shift hours
• Monitor and assess maternal and fetal status during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using Epic electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Float within the contracted facility or to nearby affiliate facilities as needed
• Complete required orientation modules prior to start and on an annual basis

Required Qualifications

• Active and valid California Registered Nurse license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum of 1–2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system
• Willingness to work 2 of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year
• Willingness to float between the contracted facility and nearby sister facilities
• Two professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Labor and Delivery setting
• Strong adaptability and ability to transition smoothly between multiple care environments
