Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) Volunteer Catechist

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare and maintain a beautiful, orderly, and prayerful Atrium.
• Present Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Level I or Level II presentations.
• Foster a peaceful environment where children can encounter Christ through prayer, Scripture, and the liturgy.
• Care for and maintain Atrium materials.
• Prepare new materials as needed.
• Collaborate with school staff and families to support each child's spiritual formation.
• Participate in the spiritual life and mission of the school.
• Perform other Atrium related duties as needed.

Qualifications

• CGS Level I and/or Level II Certification required.
• Practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church.
• Love for children and a heart for evangelization.
• Experience working in a Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Atrium preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
