Band Saw Operator

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Band Saw Operator to join our production team in the Houston, TX (77041) area. In this role, you will read and interpret blueprints, set up and calibrate machinery to precise tolerances, select appropriate blade speeds and tensions, and guide varieties of raw materials through the blade to achieve high-quality cuts. Beyond operating the equipment, you will perform routine preventative maintenance like clearing jams and changing blades, conduct detailed quality control inspections using precision measuring tools, and utilize forklifts or overhead cranes to safely handle, load, and stack heavy inventory. The ideal candidate will bring a mechanical aptitude, a diligent work ethic, and previous manufacturing or metal fabrication shop experience. This full-time position offers both first and second shift options, providing a flexible schedule in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.

salary: $25,000 - $35,902 per year
