Salary: $90,000 - $115,000


CFS is partnering with an established financial services organization seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support financial operations and reporting.
Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Support internal and external audit requests
• Analyze accounting processes and recommend improvements
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies
• Mentor junior accounting staff and collaborate across departments

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Financial services, banking, mortgage, or lending industry experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Advanced Excel skills
• CPA or CPA-track preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
