About the Position
TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Alexandria, Louisiana, 71301!
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Active Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Strong nursing background and knowledge Thorough assessment skills Attention to detail and condition changes Positive attitude Flexibility Dependability Teamwork Self-motivation Good communication and interpersonal skills Desire for excellence Accountability Ability to multitask Ability to deal with stressful situations Description: The unit has 36 beds with a patient ratio of 1:6. Staffing includes 2 unit secretaries available from 0600 to 2200 daily. Patient care techs are utilized at all times, with the amount and ratio fluctuating depending on census. Telemetry equipment is available in each room with monitors in the stations. Dynamaps are used for vital signs and glucometers are available for glucose monitoring. iMobile phones and bladder scanners are also part of the equipment used in the unit. Documentation is completed through an established system. Scheduling requires 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, and holidays. All nurses are required to float to other units as necessary. Patient experience requirements include hourly rounding, bedside shift reports, My Care Boards, and adherence to AIDET principles. The unit is recognized for its excellence, having achieved various certifications and high employee engagement scores. Quality and core measures are maintained at a high standard, with many staff members being nationally certified. The unit utilizes advanced technologies such as iMobile technology and Dynamaps that upload to the documentation system. Self-scheduling options are available within guidelines. About Cynet Health
