Hiring Bilingual School Social Worker – 2026–2027 School Year
Location: East St. Louis, IL
Contract Position
Bilingual Therapies is seeking dedicated Bilingual School Social Workers for full-time contract positions in East St. Louis, Illinois. There are currently 2 openings available. Both positions require a Spanish-speaking Social Worker with experience supporting students in a school-based setting. One position will primarily serve high school students, while the other will support the Special Education Department with IEPs, 504 Plans, student services, and other special education needs.

Position 1: High School Social Worker – Spanish-speaking social worker assigned primarily to the high school
Position 2: Special Education Social Worker – Spanish-speaking social worker supporting the Special Education Department, including IEPs, 504 Plans, student services, and related special education needs
Job Qualifications:
Valid Illinois PEL with School Social Worker (SSW) endorsement required
Bilingual Spanish required
Experience working in a school-based setting preferred
Experience supporting students with academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and/or special education needs preferred
Experience with IEPs and 504 Plans preferred for the Special Education Social Worker position
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams
Commitment to supporting students' social-emotional well-being and academic success
