Interact directly with the clients, providing supervision and support. If you work on weekdays, you'll also interact with therapists and other teammates. If you work on weekends, you'll accompany the clients on outings , from hiking and beach-going to visits to Disneyland, Universal Studios and other attractions. Enjoy free meals, coffee and snacks while earning competitive compensation. This is a full-time opportunity working Monday through Friday from 1:45 PM to 10:15 PM. This hourly position starts at $22 to $25 per hour based on your experience. Additional compensation will be considered for the following: Bachelor's degree or above Mental health-related certifications 3+ years of residential mental health experience The Job Reporting to the Program Director, you will provide basic support regarding the care of the clients to ensure they have what they need for successful rehabilitation. Your Qualifications To be a good fit for the Behavioral Technician opportunity, you will have: A high school diploma or GED. 1+ years of experience in the social services field. A genuine desire to work with adolescents. Working knowledge of substance abuse, mental health disorders, and treatment procedures for such illnesses. First aid and CPR certification. Must have a valid California driver's license and the ability to pass and maintain a clean driving record check (MVR) in accordance with our company standards. Good verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer skills, including Internet, email, and MS Word.
