Wieland is hiring a General Labor . The General Labor will be responsible for performing miscellaneous labor functions throughout the Mill. This role is located in Montpelier, OH and will be fully on-site. Starting Pay: 23.11 Schedule: 3pm - 11pm, training may take place on 1st or 3rd shift at beginning of hire date Pay Schedule: Weekly Responsibilities General Labor Responsibilities: Instructed by supervisor on each task Tasks may include those similar to: General housekeeping tasks - clean any area of Mill Chopping scrap Handle solid scrap Operates forklift to transport oil and trash to designated locations Moves scrap to and from various locations Maintains equipment and performs duties in a clean and orderly condition Other duties as assigned General Labor Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred Minimum one-year manufacturing experience preferred Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds repetitively and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately loud.
