Tenure-Track Associate Professor - Center for Urban Health Equity

Job Summary Tenure‑Track Associate Professor – Center for Urban Health Equity. This faculty role is designed for high research productivity (grants, contracts, publications, dissemination) and service to the university, with selected teaching duties. The position is for serving in the CUHE. Duties and Responsibilities Engage continuously in high‑quality, community‑focused research, including securing grants, contracts, publications, and dissemination. Teach courses consistent with the goals of the Center, with a minimum of one academic course per year. Mentor and integrate postdoctoral fellows, graduate, and undergraduate students in health equity research. Engage with external organizations and stakeholder groups to advance the Center’s mission and goals. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Other Characteristics Strong knowledge of research methods. Strong data analytic ability (quantitative and/or qualitative; multiple analytic tools). Adept with technology and productivity software. Leadership skills and the ability to supervise. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups. Knowledge and experience in equity research and scholarship. Required Minimum Qualifications Doctoral degree in public health, social sciences, analytics, or related field. Other Preferences for Consideration Experience in health equity from an academic or organizational perspective.
