Managed by United Surgical Partners International Joint Commission Accredited.North Central Surgical Center is seeking a qualified CT Technologist:Performs diagnostic procedures utilizing imaging equipment while providing quality care to patients of all ages.The ideal candidate will perform quality Computerized Tomography (CT) diagnostic procedures under the direction of a Radiologist, at a technical level requiring constant attention to technical detail and in a timely manner. Operates CT, X-ray equipment and PACS. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative. Recognizes the purpose of this service is to provide high quality CT, and X-ray imaging and to prioritize the patient as number one.Required Skills:High School Diploma/GEDAssociate Degree in Radiologic Sciences or Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic TechnologyTwo to five years' experience specific to CT and MRIRegistered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.Licensed by the Texas Department of Health as a Medical Radiologic Technologist - General License.AART advanced certification in CTCPR Current.Would like Tech to have 3-5 years' experience in CTIV Skill set and experience with a power projector.Knowledgeable of local, state, federal and Joint Commission Regulations.Must possess independent decision making skills.Ability to prioritize multiple patients if/when needed.Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients and families.Must be able to communicate verbally and non-verbally in a professional way.
