This role is part of our Field Operations team and requires on-site participation.Compensation & Overseas Benefits This position offers a salary range of $130,000-$160,000, along with a comprehensive international assignment package. Additional offerings include potential eligibility for the foreign earned income exclusion, full medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) plan, life insurance, a health savings account, and paid time off.Basic Requirements Applicants must have prior experience as a Quality Control Manager on healthcare construction projects, be willing to relocate to Guantanamo Bay, and possess a valid passport.Position Overview The CQCM is responsible for developing and administering a project-specific quality control plan. This includes ensuring all work complies with contractual standards, maintaining timely and accurate documentation, coordinating quality activities across the project team, and fostering strong client relationships-all while reflecting RQ's core values.Experience & QualificationsMinimum of 10 years of combined experience in commercial construction (or equivalent), including roles such as Superintendent, Project Manager, Project Engineer, or QC ManagerAt least 2 years of direct experience serving as a Quality Control ManagerActive USACE Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractors certification required; RMS/QCS knowledge preferred (training available)Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year program (Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field preferred)Specialized inspection certifications and licenses are highly desirablePrevious work on medical or healthcare facilities strongly preferredLEED Accredited Professional (AP/AP+) or Green Associate credentials are a plusRequired certifications include EM 385-1-1 Level 1, CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30-hour (training available if needed)Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications requiredFamiliarity with construction management software such as Viewpoint/Vista and RMS/QCS preferredAbout RQ Construction Based in Carlsbad, California, RQ Construction is a full-service design-build firm managing projects across the United States and internationally.
