Groovy Grails Developer

Our Client is seeking a Groovy on Grails developer to assist with hands-on development and maintenance of client facing applications. This ideal candidate should enjoy daily problem-solving of software challenges, open to learning new technologies, and thrive in a collaborative team environment as they gather requirements and implement technical solutions.

Candidates must have 1-3 years of total development experience with Groovy and Grails and familiarity with any complementary development frameworks. Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL will be highly preferred as well as understanding creation and consumption of APIs and web services.

Other tasks include:

• Write clean and well-documented code
• Participate in code reviews and contribute
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues 
• Assist in system upgrades, patches, and performance tuning
• Use any Source Control software tool
