Sr. Power Bi Developer
Work Location: Dallas, TX / Tampa, FL (Remote Until Covid) Duration: 6+ Months Must Have –
- Strong communication and meeting facilitation skills
- 4-5 years of PowerBI development experience
- Ability to develop stories around data and data analysis
- Knowledge of Snowflake
- Intermediate knowledge of SQL
- Ability to architect dashboards for large datasets
Nice to Have -
- Knowledge of Splunk, Saved Searches and Saved Reports
- Prior Financial Services experience
Preferred Experience:
- Must-have: Minimum of 4 years' experience in PowerBI.
- Experience in the Design, Implementation and Support of Distributed and Big Data Analytics Platforms
Principal Responsibilities :
- Build intuitive and robust dashboards in PowerBI using corporate standards and templates
- Facilitate user design sessions to establish and execute on requirements
- Build drill down and drill through navigation for train-of-thought analysis
- Incorporate data visibility and security rules into dashboards based on user
- Utilize latest features of PowerBI and stay abreast of new features and functions on the PowerBI roadmap
- Test and validate metrics and KPIs against federated data sources
- Actively participate in monthly internal user group meetings for Data Analytics and Visualization
