Location : Yuba City/Marysville California, 35 minutes north of Sacramento, as well as Sacramento Schedule : This position varies based on the availability of candidates who may reach out during evenings or weekends. Additionally, this position will be engaging with candidates during activities such as dinners or attending events. About the Role The Senior Healthcare Recruiter leads full‑cycle recruitment efforts to attract, hire, and retain highly qualified clinical healthcare professionals. This role partners closely with leadership to support workforce planning and ensure timely, compliant, and strategic hiring aligned with organizational goals. The Senior Healthcare Recruiter serves as a subject matter expert, provides mentorship to recruiting staff, and drives continuous improvement in recruitment processes and outcomes. Essential Functions Recruitment Manage full‑cycle recruitment for a wide range of healthcare positions, including physicians, advanced practice providers and specialists. Source, screen, interview, and evaluate candidates to assess qualifications, licensure, and organizational fit. Attend provider focused job fairs and promote Peach Tree Health as a Great Place to Work certified employer. Partner with HR, credentialing, and operations to support onboarding and orientation. Develop and maintain candidate pipelines through proactive sourcing, networking, and relationship‑building. Track and maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS). Analyze recruitment metrics and make recommendations to improve efficiency and outcomes. Coordinate interviews, site visits, and selection processes with hiring teams. Collaborate with University Administration departments to build graduate pipeline from rotations to hiring. Remain active on existing job boards and identify new sources for candidate sourcing. Engagement Build relationships with candidates and encourage strategic engagement activities (dinner, activities, etc.) while in town for site tours. May include evening and weekend work. Discuss benefits and perks of being a provider with Peach Tree Healthcare. Extend and negotiate employment offers, including compensation and related terms. Follow up Collaborate with leadership to understand staffing needs, develop recruitment strategies, and prioritize hiring initiatives. Ensure compliance with credentialing requirements, employment laws, and internal policies. Support employer branding efforts, recruitment events, and community outreach. Mentor and provide guidance to junior recruiters or recruiting team members. Stay current on healthcare workforce trends and labor market conditions. Qualifications 5+ years of recruitment experience. Experience recruiting for licensed clinical roles. Understanding of healthcare clinical roles and credentialing requirements. Ability to assess candidate qualifications and make sound hiring recommendations. Negotiation skills: Effectively manage offers and candidate expectations. Required Skills Organization & time management: Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Compliance awareness: Knowledge of applicable employment laws, HIPAA considerations, and regulatory requirements. Problem solving: Proactively identifies recruitment challenges and implements solutions. Leadership & mentorship: Provides guidance and support to less experienced staff. Relationship management: Ability to build trust with candidates, leaders, and stakeholders. Critical thinking: Ability to assess candidate qualifications and make sound hiring recommendations.
