Registered Nurse - Home Health (Shreveport, LA) | 8H Days | Immediate Start

Pay & Benefits
- Hourly Pay Rate: $63.65

What You'll Do
- Provide skilled nursing care to home health patients across a 50-mile radius in Shreveport, LA
- Administer medications including IV antibiotics and manage PICC lines and Foley catheters
- Monitor and document patient health status, including wounds, heart failure, and diabetes management
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions and treatment plans
- Utilize EMR system (Meditech Home Care) for documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Support within the department as an educator and resource for new team members
What You Need
Required:- Valid RN license
- BLS and NIHSS certifications
- Valid driver's license
- At least 1 year of experience in Home Health, Medical-Surgical, or Hospice care
- Experience in ER and ICU settings
About the Assignment Join a dedicated home health team providing quality nursing care to diverse patients with conditions such as wounds, heart failure, and diabetes. The department emphasizes patient education and collaborative care, supporting your professional growth in a dynamic, community-focused environment. Travel within the local area, with a caseload of approximately 7-8 patients per day, ensures a manageable schedule with meaningful patient interactions.
