Job Overview A law firm seeks a seasoned Trust and Estate Litigation Attorney in Orinda, CA. The attorney will play a crucial role in achieving positive outcomes for clients facing complex disputes. Responsibilities Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis on trust and estate issues. Draft legal documents, including pleadings and trial briefs. Manage all aspects of discovery and client preparation for trial. Represent clients in court appearances and trials. Provide direct counsel to clients and develop case strategies. Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations. Take and defend depositions of various witnesses. Manage case files autonomously, ensuring efficient case progression. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation attorney. Experience in probate, trust, or estate litigation preferred. In-depth knowledge of California state court procedures. Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
