A leading utility services organization is seeking a Regulatory Affairs Coordinator to support compliance activities for wastewater systems. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with water industry experience who enjoys working with regulatory requirements, laboratory data, environmental compliance, and multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Support wastewater compliance by reviewing operational data, preparing regulatory reports and submissions, and tracking sampling, sludge, biomonitoring, and discharge requirements.
- Maintain accurate regulatory databases, laboratory results, compliance documentation, billing information, work orders, and records while ensuring deadlines are consistently met.
- Collaborate with operations, contract management, laboratories, customers, and regulatory agencies; assist with inspections, employee training, compliance investigations, and environmental projects.
- 2+ years of experience in the water/wastewater industry , with wastewater experience strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Policy, Public Health, Public Administration, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering , or a closely related field.
- Strong analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to research issues, interpret data, solve problems, and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office , strong attention to detail, ability to learn regulatory software and databases, willingness to drive a company vehicle as needed, and a clean driving record.
