About the Position

Job Title: Central Sterile Technician Profession: Central Sterile Technician Specialty: Central Sterile Technician Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Evening Hours per Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: CRCST or NBSTSA CST required Certifications: Required certifications Must-Have: Relevant certifications Description: The Central Sterile Technician will be responsible for the processing of surgical instruments and equipment. This role involves the sterilization, packaging, and distribution of sterile supplies to be used in medical procedures. The technician will ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all processing activities. Attention to detail and adherence to infection control protocols are essential in this position. Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team are also necessary. This position involves weekday shifts in the evening hours. The technician will be expected to contribute positively to the overall functioning of the sterile processing environment.
