Senior Construction Manager

About the RoleThe Senior Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing and directing multiple telecommunications construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. This individual will ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with company standards and customer requirements.The role will provide leadership to Construction Managers, Supervisors, and field personnel while building strong partnerships with clients, municipalities, utility partners, and subcontractors.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee multiple telecom construction projects throughout the project lifecycleManage aerial, underground, fiber optic, coax, and directional drilling operationsEnsure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company safety standardsDevelop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plansReview project estimates, change orders, and cost reportingCoordinate activities between engineering, permitting, utility, and construction teamsServe as the primary escalation point for clients and stakeholdersLead weekly production and safety meetingsMonitor quality control standards and ensure adherence to project specificationsManage subcontractor performance and contract complianceIdentify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and reduce costsMentor and develop Construction Managers and field leadership personnelRequired Skills & ExperienceConstruction Management experience within telecommunicationsOSP (Outside Plant) construction experienceFTTH (Fiber-to-the-Home) project experienceFiber optic construction experienceExperience managing aerial and underground telecom construction projectsStrong knowledge of telecom safety procedures and compliance requirementsExperience leading teams, vendors, and subcontractors in a fast-paced environmentPreferred BackgroundExperience managing multiple concurrent telecom projectsStrong budgeting, forecasting, and project scheduling experienceClient-facing leadership experienceProven ability to drive operational excellence and team developmentWhy This Opportunity?The organization is experiencing significant growth and is seeking a leader who can help scale telecom construction operations while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
