Title : Peer Support Specialist

Primary Duties :

• Serve as an active member of the client's treatment team, including participation in team meetings and treatment planning meetings.
• Implement and coordinate recovery plans for individual clients in assigned population group, including evaluation, consultation, education, and follow-up services.
• Serve as role model for clients by sharing own recovery process and teaching effective coping techniques and self-help strategies.
• Provide advocacy services on behalf of clients.
• Inform supervisor and other members of treatment team, as indicated, of issues/concerns related to individual clients.

Shift/Days and Work Hours : Monday through Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm

Funding Source for Position : Funded in part or in whole from Federal, CHFS, and or other State funds.
