Position Overview

This role involves providing therapy services in a home health setting, requiring regular travel to patients' homes as well as participation in periodic office meetings. Candidates must possess reliable transportation, a current driver's license, and the necessary liability insurance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct home visits for therapy services including Start of Care and Follow-ups.
• Manage a caseload of approximately 5-10 patients per day.
• Complete documentation and travel-related tasks with specific point values assigned to each.
• Collaborate with team members during office meetings.
• Travel within a designated area, with a willingness to cover up to 75 miles from the home clinic.

Expectations

• Achieve a weekly productivity target of 30 points, translating roughly to 40 hours of work per week.
• Be available to float to a nearby clinic if patient volumes are low.
• Maintain timely documentation within 24 hours of patient appointments.
• Accept all scheduled patients, regardless of the distance from previous appointments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in adult home health therapy.
• Certification in CPR and BLS required.
• Experience with OASIS and HomeCare HomeBase EMR preferred.
• Local candidates are accepted and will be compensated at the same rate.

Travel Requirements

Contractors will typically travel between 100-150 miles per week to meet patient needs, with mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate. However, the commute to and from the first and last patients will not be billable.

Contract Details

This is a contract position with no guaranteed hours. Candidates should be prepared for a work schedule Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, with occasional weekend requirements based on location and profession.
