Software Engineer - Off-Site ManufacturingInsight Global is seeking a Software Engineer - Off-Site Manufacturing for a top manufacturing and construction services client. This candidate will join a growing corporate development team focused on building and supporting mission-critical web applications used by manufacturing operations teams. The ideal candidate will have strong TypeScript and GitHub experience, enjoy collaborating directly with business stakeholders, and be comfortable owning the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering through deployment and support. This is an opportunity to make a direct impact on operational efficiency while building scalable software solutions in a collaborative, technology-driven environment.Required Skills & ExperienceMust-Haves: 3-5 years of professional software engineering experience with a track record of shipping and supporting production software Strong TypeScript and modern web application development experience Strong GitHub experience including repositories, branches, pull requests, code reviews, GitHub Actions, Issues, and releases Experience building reliable web applications including authentication, testing, deployment, accessibility, and error handling Experience with CI/CD, logging, monitoring, metrics, and debugging SQL and relational database experience Experience utilizing AI-assisted development tools Ability to work directly with project managers and non-technical stakeholders to translate business needs into software solutions Willingness to work onsite in Buda, TX and travel occasionally to manufacturing facilitiesNice to Have Skills & ExperiencePython experience, especially supporting AI or data services React, Next.js, or similar modern TypeScript framework experience Azure, containers, or Infrastructure-as-Code experience AI/LLM application development experience Experience building internal tools with strong user adoption Manufacturing, fabrication, industrial construction, or production operations experience
