Division: KYCO Department: Academic Affairs Experience: Entry-level Job Code: FWSKYCOCLASI Supervisor/Reports To: Renee Reeder Start Date: 8/25/2026 Assist with maintaining contact lens inventory, processing student data, preparing supply kits, and supporting lab operations. Ideal for students interested in optometry or pre-optometry fields. Responsibilities And Career Competencies Inventory supplies and create list for restock – CSD Inventory contact lens fitting sets, scan for reorder, place orders as needed for lab – CSD Maintain google document of student data and assist with processing for CL orders for the lab – CSD, T, CT Create and maintain supply kits for use in lab – CSD, T Check in lenses and label them – T, CSD Keep track of lenses and supplies ordered – P, T, C Assist with ancillary testing as needed – C, P, CSD, CTR Clean, disinfect, inspect, verify and maintain contact lenses – CSD, T, CT Sort and assign students to lanes for workshops and labs using excel or google sheets – T, CSD, CT Interact with workshop/vendor organizer in preparation for special events – P, T, C, L Competencies/Skills: Communication (C), Teamwork (TW), Professionalism (P), Career & Self Development (CSD), Critical Thinking (CT), Community Transformation (CTR), Leadership (L), Technology (T) Preferred Skills: Word, Excel, Google sign-ups and sheets, attention to detail, willingness to learn new things. Work Schedule: Wednesday: 9:00am - 12:00pm. Flexible to accommodate student schedule. Priority during open hours and special events. Work Conditions: Normal office environment. Physical Demands: Keyboarding, pulling up to 30 lbs, lifting and carrying up to 10 lbs.
