Urgent Medsurg/ED RN Position - 12hr Nights

This is a 13-week contract position.

12-hour night shifts.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Urgent Medsurg/ED team. The RN will provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment, managing both Med/Surg and Emergency Department needs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in inpatient, observation, and swing bed settings.
• Assess and manage patients in the emergency department.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient care and progress accurately in the EMR system (Athena).
• Manage common diagnoses including CHF, COPD, post-operative care, pneumonia, UTI/AMS, and failure to thrive.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in Med/Surg and Emergency settings.
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and AHA Procedural Sedation Module.
• Active RN license.
