Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Location: Tucson, AZ 85713
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 37 Weeks
Shift: Day or Night | 12-hour shifts
Schedule: Alternating 36 & 48 hours/week; weekends required
Local Candidates: Accepted
Traveler Candidates: Not Accepted

Pay Rate:
Local: $21–$25/hr

Required Qualifications:

• Active CNA Certification

• Current BLS/CPR certification

• Experience in Long-Term Care, SNF, Nursing Home, or Geriatric settings preferred

• Availability for day or night shifts

• Availability for weekend block scheduling

• Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card

• Required onboarding documents, including TB, Food Handler, OIG/SAM, Hepatitis B, COVID, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transfers, and ambulation

• Obtain and document vital signs, intake/output, and specimens

• Assist with treatments, post-surgical care, and basic nursing procedures

• Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs while maintaining dignity

• Transport residents to dining areas, appointments, and other facility locations

• Maintain clean, safe, and hygienic resident rooms and care areas

• Complete accurate documentation and report changes in condition to licensed nurses

• Participate in quality-improvement and Arizona Management System (AMS) initiatives
