Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team with a focus on emergency care in a small critical access hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency services and be equipped to handle a diverse range of patient needs, including inpatient care, swing bed, observation status, and outpatient therapies.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in an emergency department setting.
• Manage multiple patient cases simultaneously, demonstrating strong multi-tasking abilities.
• Administer and monitor treatments and medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and support staff to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
• Participate in holiday coverage to ensure continuous care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an emergency department.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required.
• TNCC certification is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Requirements

Holiday coverage is required for this position, ensuring patient care continuity during peak times.
