Responsibilities Direct Support Counselor responsibilities include providing personal care including housekeeping; lifting, transferring, bathing, administrating medication, meal preparations, and performing general household duties as well as community integration (transporting individuals to doctor appointments, advocating on behalf of the individual, providing medical professionals with accurate information, grocery shopping, and recreational activities).
