Houston, Texas Primary Care NP/PA PRN Opportunity
6-Hour Daytime Shifts • 18–21 Patients/Day • September Dates Available

Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for immediate PRN Primary Care coverage in Houston, Texas .

This is an excellent opportunity for a local Houston APP looking to add flexible daytime shifts without committing to a traditional full-time locum assignment. Current September dates are available now, with the opportunity to remain an ongoing PRN resource for future coverage needs .

Current Open Dates

• September 11 | 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• September 18 | 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• September 25 | 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Additional PRN dates are expected moving forward.
Typical clinic hours are:

• Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Clinical Scope
This is a focused outpatient Primary Care setting with an expected census of approximately 18–21 patients per day .
Clinical responsibilities include:

• Primary Care evaluation and treatment
• Well-woman exams
• Contraceptive care
• Routine outpatient Primary Care
• Suturing on a rare/as-needed basis
• Independent patient management within NP/PA scope of practice

Practice Environment
The workflow is designed to keep the provider focused on patient care. The practice uses paper charting , and MAs provide clinical support, assist with translation when needed, and prepare prescriptions for provider review.

Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Appropriate Texas licensure
• Strong outpatient Primary Care experience
• Comfortable independently evaluating and treating patients
• Experience performing well-woman exams
• Comfortable with occasional suturing
• Ability to provide contraceptive care
• Local Houston-area availability strongly preferred
