Emergency Veterinarian Position

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Ellicott City, Maryland is seeking a full-time Emergency Veterinarian to join our collaborative and growing emergency and specialty team.

• This position provides a robust and diverse caseload with opportunities to perform medical oncology procedures while collaborating closely with Internal Medicine, Critical/Emergency Care, Radiology, and Surgery specialists.
• Our clinicians benefit from collaboration with Skylos Sports Medicine, one of the East Coast's leading orthopedic and sports medicine practices, offering strong referral support and multidisciplinary care for complex orthopedic and oncologic patients.

Essentials for Achieving Excellence at BluePearl:

• DVM/VMD degree required.
• Completion of a rotating internship in emergency (ER) medicine or ER training program.
• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in this state.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills, with the ability to make rapid and accurate assessments in emergency situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate bedside manner.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
