Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (Travel, Nights)

Location

Flowood, MS | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 8-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit during night shift hours
• Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor using continuous fetal monitoring
• Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries, supporting clinical staff as needed
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for obstetric patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe outcomes for mothers and newborns

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Advanced NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Fetal Monitoring certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-volume or acute care Labor & Delivery setting
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Strong ability to adapt quickly in a travel/contract environment
