Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery to provide exceptional care to patients during labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and newborn phases. This position plays a crucial role in managing high-risk labor, circulating C-sections, and providing neonatal resuscitation.

Responsibilities

• Circulate C-sections and aid in high-risk labor management
• Perform Pitocin titration and interpret fetal monitoring
• Participate in neonatal resuscitation
• Provide postpartum and couplet care competency
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:1 during labor and 3:1 for couplet care

Schedule

This position requires night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with no call and a maximum request time off of 6 days within a 6-week period. You must work 1 major holiday if the assignment overlaps.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN Licensure
• BLS, ACLS (AHA or ARC) certification
• NRP and WHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certifications preferred
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Labor and Delivery
• Ability to float within women's services
