If you’re looking for a place where your clinical judgment is valued, your growth is supported, and your work truly makes a difference, we’d love to talk.Local Team Collaboration:Join ourclose-knit teamof9 physiciansand2 advanced practice providersatWTH – Dyersburg Hospital, with support from aclinical performance nurse.Our cohesive team has built strong, enduring relationships, offering a stable and collaborative work environment.Accountable, on-site leadership: a local medical director who knows the community and owns the department's performance, supported by Sound's leadership-development tools.Stable, well-staffed teams: cohesive teams aligned on our patient-first culture of excellence, which means less reliance on premium temp labor and more predictable shifts.Qualifications:Board-certified/eligible in emergency or family medicine with emergency medicine experience.Ability to manage a high volume of complex cases, including critical interventions such as intubations, central lines, and trauma care.J1 visa candidates invited to apply, access to Sound’s in-house visa specialists as well as our licensing and credentialing experts.Scheduling:24 hours of physician coverage complemented by 2-12 hour APP shifts/day (9a-9p and 2p-2a).Access to a broad range of specialized services, including cardiology, pulmonology, general surgery, urology, GI pediatrics, OB, radiology, anesthesiology, nephrology, and endocrinology.Key Responsibilities:Manage a16-bed emergency department,seeingapproximately 75 patients per day.Care for patients in critical conditions, frommotor vehicle collisionstoviolent crimes, with a focus onchest tube placements,intubations, andtrauma care.Living and Working in Dyersburg:Dyersburgoffers a relaxed lifestyle with affordable housing, strong schools, and a family-friendly atmosphere, making it an ideal place to live and work.As a team committed to the community, we encourage our members to contribute to local health and wellness inside and outside the hospital.Compensation:Competitive salary with benefits that reflect your skills and experience.Liz Baker, Director, Clinical Recruiting | |
