Haimer USA, based in Villa Park, Illinois, is the North American Headquarters for Haimer GmbH, a family owned and managed manufacturer located in Igenhausen, Germany. Summary/Objective We are seeking a Business Apprentice to join our team! The Business Apprenticeship Program is a 2-year program that balances on-the-job learning at Haimer USA with in-school classroom learning at College of DuPage. This opportunity offers fully sponsored college education while gaining hands-on experience in a professional business environment. We cover tuition, fees and books, a daily school stipend, as well as a salary.

- Get paid while receiving hands-on training and mentorship across key business functions:
- Support Sales and Customer Service with order processing, quotations, and customer communication
- Assist Marketing with campaigns, events, and promotional activities
- Work with Finance and Administration on reporting, data entry, and internal processes
- Gain exposure to purchasing, logistics, and inventory coordination
- Collaborate with multiple departments to understand day-to-day business operations
- Earn a fully sponsored associate degree in management and marketing from College of DuPage
- Combine classroom learning with real-world experience, applying business concepts directly in a professional setting
- Rotate through various departments to develop a well-rounded understanding of company operations and workflows
- Build essential skills in communication, organization, problem-solving, and business systems
- Obtain an international apprenticeship certificate as well as credentials from the U.S. Department of Labor
- Secure a full-time position with HAIMER for a minimum of two years upon successful completion of the program
We are looking for candidates who:
- Are college-ready or have successfully passed a college placement test
- Enjoy working in a multicultural environment that values teamwork and collaboration
- Are strong problem solvers who can make decisions, prioritize tasks, and stay organized
- Have an interest in learning and gaining experience across multiple business functions such as accounting, sales, customer service, human resources, and marketing
- Possess basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Are honest, dependable, reliable, energetic and self-motivated.
