Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 10/12/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Cath Lab Technologist We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cath Lab Technologist to join our team in a dynamic Cardiac Cath Lab environment. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in a Cath Lab setting and be prepared to provide high-quality care to patients undergoing various cardiac procedures. Job Details Shift: 12-hour days with additional call responsibilities Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Unit Information Unit Type: Cardiac Cath Lab Beds: 3 main, 1 EP, and 1 Hybrid (vascular & cardiac cases) Daily Cases: 10-25 cases per day EMR Systems: Cerner and Xper Orientation: 2 days on the job specific to the unit Responsibilities Assist with a variety of interventional and electrophysiology procedures. Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures. Collaborate with healthcare team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Maintain and operate medical equipment, ensuring adherence to established protocols. Participate in on-call duties (8-12 days per month), including weekends and holidays. Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a Cath Lab setting required Certifications: ARRT Certification BLS Certification Must hold a valid AZ license, MRTBE CRT Additional Information Common Patient Diagnoses: Interventional, EP lab, peripheral procedures, mitral clip, TAVR, IABP placements, and Emtala procedures. Response Time: 30 minutes required for on-call duties. Equipment Used: Phillips and Siemens equipment. Staffing: Includes Rad techs serving as circulating and scrub techs with BLS and relevant certifications.
