Our client in the DFW area is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to provide essential support during a temporary maternity leave. This approximately three-month contract offers a unique opportunity to showcase your HR expertise in a dynamic, growing organization while ensuring smooth operational continuity. In this role, you will manage employee onboarding and offboarding, maintain accurate HR records within the HRIS, support employee relations, and assist with policy communication and administration. You'll play a key part in supporting payroll and benefits, coordinating with leadership, and identifying process improvement opportunities. Your technical aptitude and organizational skills will help keep HR functions running seamlessly during the HR Manager's leave.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience as an HR Generalist, HR Manager, or similar role
• Strong knowledge of onboarding, HR administration, policies, and employee support
• Ability to independently manage multiple HR functions
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively
• Technical aptitude with experience navigating HR systems; BambooHR experience is highly preferred
• Experience working with multiple HR and business software platforms
• Proactive, dependable, adaptable, and comfortable working with limited supervision

Nice to Have Skills:

• Payroll and benefits administration experience
• Experience with HR process improvements and system enhancements

Additional Details:

• This is a temporary, approximately three-month contract during the HR Manager's maternity leave.
• The role is based in the DFW area; local candidates are preferred to facilitate onsite work, though some remote flexibility may be considered.
• The candidate must be able to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Prior experience in a HR generalist capacity or related role
• Demonstrated ability to quickly integrate into an established HR environment

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work independently during the duration of the leave period
• Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with internal teams and leadership
