Factors that may be used to determine rate of pay include specific skills, work location, work experience and other individualized factorsJob SummaryThe Material Handler is responsible for ensuring timely delivery of raw materials to production lines, efficient collection of waste, and overall support to packing operations. This role ensures there is a clean, organized, and safe environment. The Material Handler works closely with the Team Lead and is expected to proactively identify issues, resolve inefficiencies, and recommend performance improvements.ResponsibilitiesAbility to work with the line supervisor and other management to identify and pull the correct raw product.Ensure timely delivery of raw materials to production lines.Manage collection and proper disposal of waste from lines.Support production and packing associate with materials and supplies.Maintain clean, safe, and organized warehouses and staging areas.Monitor inventory of packing materials and communicate shortages.Enforce safety and cleanliness standards within the warehouse.Collaborate with Team Lead on process improvements and labor allocation.QualificationsEducation: Prefer High School or GED but not required.Experience: 1-2 years in warehouse or inventory control, including leadership or lead-hand experience (required). Experience in food or perishable good handling, inventory systems, or warehouse equipment (preferred)SkillsStrong leadership and team coordination skillsGood communication and time managementUnderstanding of warehouse operations and production supportInventory tracking and material handling skillsAbility to troubleshoot material flow and supply issuesWork Environment: Reasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this job.
