Line Cook

Hilton Anchorage is seeking a motivated Line Cook who takes pride in quality, consistency, and teamwork and who wants to learn more than just their station. What You'll Be Responsible For: Food Preparation & Execution: Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes. Maintain consistent plating and portion control. Execute banquet and restaurant tickets accurately and efficiently. Assist with prep work and station organization. Ensure food is served at proper temperature and presentation standards. Kitchen Operations: Maintain a clean and organized station. Follow all health, sanitation, and food safety standards. Properly label, date, and store food. Assist with inventory rotation (FIFO) and waste control. Support cost control efforts by minimizing overproduction. Growth & Development: Learn multiple stations within the kitchen. Assist with banquet production and large-scale events. Participate in culinary training and cross-training opportunities. Develop knife skills, plating techniques, and speed under pressure. Gain exposure to ordering, inventory, and kitchen leadership processes.
