Insurance Broking Executive

Our client, a Tier1 Insurance Agency based in Malta, is looking for an Insurance Broking Executive to join their Brokering Agency's team.

The appointed person will be responsible for the administration and day-to-day running of the broking operations.

Main Duties:

• Building on existing relationships and working closely with underwriters and clients, both in Malta and overseas.
• Assessing the needs and risks of clients and sourcing quotations from underwriters, both in Malta and overseas.
• Dealing with new business, mid-term adjustments and renewal queries.
• Handling and processing of claims notifications.
• Processing payments and documentation.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Possession of the Associateship qualification from the Chartered Insurance Institute (A.C.I.I) or a University degree in Insurance or holds an insurance qualification of a similar standing of an institute of repute.
• Practical experience in insurance distribution activities for a period of not less than seven years during the last ten years.
• Smart, well organised and computer literate particularly in MS Office.
• Strong interpersonal skills, an outgoing personality, and a team player capable of working within an enthusiastic and motivated team.
• A high standard of service and professionalism.
• Fluent in written and spoken Maltese and English.

Preference will be given to candidates who are already registered as Brokers with the MFSA.
