Description
  • Conduct assessments of patients in both inpatient and outpatient environments and create customized treatment plans.
  • Deliver physical therapy interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function.
  • Work collaboratively with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation experts to maximize patient outcomes.
  • Guide patients and their families through therapeutic goals, discharge processes, and home exercise routines.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in line with regulatory and facility standards.
  • Engage in multidisciplinary team rounds and collaborative conferences to ensure cohesive patient care.
Education
  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent accreditation from an accredited institution.
Certifications
  • Possession of state licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • CPR certification highly desirable.
  • Specialty certifications (e.g., in neurological or geriatric care) are beneficial but not mandatory.
Skills
  • Prior experience is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to assess and treat patients with complex medical histories and mobility challenges.
