Surgical Technician or LPN

Position Surgical Technician or LPN – Mobridge Regional Hospital & Clinics. Responsibilities Prepares for surgical procedures. Assists surgeons and surgical team during procedures. Provides direct and indirect patient care. Maintains sterile technique in the operating room. Participates in safety measures, organizes and maintains the sterile field, and ensures supplies are available. Assists with cleaning, packaging, and sterilizing surgical instruments and trays in the OR and clinic. Acts as a resource for patient care areas regarding sterilized trays. Minimum Education High‑school graduate with completion of a surgical tech program and ability to obtain certification as a Surgical Tech. Preferred Qualifications Experience as a Surgical Tech (new graduates acceptable). Basic Life Support (CPR) certification within two months of hire. LPN licensure considered with training. Skills Strong oral and written communication, teamwork, attention to detail. Work Schedule 6:30 am – 3:00 pm Monday‑Friday with rotating night, weekend, and holiday call. Compensation & Benefits Salary dependent on education, certifications, and experience.
