Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and be committed to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide care for medical and surgical overflow patients, including non-acute stroke patients.
Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering treatments and medications as prescribed.
Titrate drips such as Insulin and Pain Medications as required.
Perform centralized telemetry monitoring and validate telemetry strips.
Collaborate with charge nurses and house supervisors as needed.
Assist with professional development and support of nursing aides on the unit.

Shift Details

Shift Length: 12 hours
Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week
Weekend Requirement: Based on unit needs
Holiday Requirement: One winter and one summer holiday

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of Medical/Surgical and Telemetry nursing experience.
Must have BLS Certification and NIHSS Certification.
EPIC experience is required.

No requests for time off will be accommodated during the first week of assignment.
Standby may be required, but there is no on-call obligation.
