MRI Technologist OpportunityThe Staff Pad has partnered with a renowned hospital in beautiful Helena, MT, to find a skilled and compassionate MRI Technologist ready to make a meaningful impact on patient care. As an MRI Technologist, you will perform high-quality MRI examinations while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and exceptional care throughout the imaging process. You will operate advanced MRI equipment, follow established imaging protocols, collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary teams, maintain accurate documentation, and uphold quality, safety, and regulatory standards to support outstanding patient outcomes. Schedule: Per Diem | Weekends, Holidays, Evenings Nights, Standby & Call as neededWhat You'll Do:Perform MRI safety screenings and verify patient identity, pregnancy status, and exam readinessReview implants & medical devices & collaborate with radiologists to ensure MRI compatibilityPrepare, educate, position, and monitor patients ad ensure comfort throughout MRI proceduresStart IVs, administer contrast, and monitor for adverse reactionsOperate MRI equipment and optimize scan quality and efficiencyFollow MRI safety standards, including ACR Zone 3 and Zone 4 requirementsReview image quality and ensure timely PACS documentationInterpret physician orders and follow established imaging protocolsAssist with patient scheduling and workflow optimizationSupport quality improvement, protocol development, accreditation, and regulatory complianceMonitor equipment performance and assist with inventory and maintenance coordinationCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams and support staff training and developmentMaintain compliance with State of Montana, CMS, ARRT, ASRT, and all applicable regulatory standardsPerform other duties as assignedWhat We Are Looking For:Qualifications:Minimum of one (1) year of MRI experience requiredGraduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology preferredCurrent American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) requiredCurrent Montana Radiologic Technologist license or permit requiredCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certification requiredAdditional Skills & Requirements:Knowledge of MRI principles, safety, implant screening, and contrast administrationProficiency with EMR, PACS, and computer systemsStrong patient assessment, communication, and interpersonal skillsCritical thinking, problem-solving, and sound clinical judgmentExcellent organization, time management, and multitasking abilitiesAbility to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary teamAdaptability in a fast-paced, changing environmentWhat You Can Expect:Benefits:Competitive CompensationMedical, Dental, Vision InsuranceLong & Short-Term Disability Coverage, HSA& FSA OptionsGenerous PTO, Vacation days, holidays & sick leaveTuition Assistance & Reimbursement403(b) Retirement Plan with 3% employer matchCafeteria, Health Club Membership & Affordable Child CareCompensation is reviewed annually to remain competitive with industry standards.
