Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager

Job Summary This position will be responsible for providing leadership and supporting the development and implementation of environmental, health & safety compliance programs for the Fairless and Garrison plants. Responsibilities Analyze, prepare, and submit all environmental reports and prepare, plan, and submit all regulatory compliance notifications. Manage record‑keeping and programs required for EHS regulatory compliance. Manage injury and near‑miss incidents including injury and illness reporting to the company and investigations and learnings. Ensure plant employees are properly trained on permits and all company EHS procedures and policies. Maintain awareness of safe working conditions and practice safe work habits in all activities. Educate and promote safe work practices and programs. Interact with external agencies as representative of the plant and the company. Education, Experience, and Skill Requirements Minimum of 6 years of experience working with and providing oversight of environmental and safety compliance at power plants or other industrial locations. Experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications applicable to the above skills. Familiarity with EPA, state and Federal OSHA or MSHA regulations. Excellent organizational skills and ability to effectively manage multiple activities simultaneously. Strong interpersonal and excellent written and oral communication skills, including procedures development and implementation. Experience with delivering communications and training related to EHS compliance, corrective actions, lessons learned, etc. Experience with OSHA VPP program management. Preferred experience with Learning Management System. Preferred experience with Maximo/CMMS system used for EHS reporting. Key Metrics Strong skillset in resolving technical issues to ensure EHS compliance. Proven project management skills. Maintain relationships with regulatory agencies, serving as the primary plant liaison.
